You can make a meaningful difference!

Most of the students in Jeevanshalas are first generation learners. The need for funds remains urgent and constant as we have no ensured source of income or investments. We do not get government funding as schools are permitted under self-financed Marathi schools. The facility to purchase grains at ration shop rates permitted in Maharashtra was withdrawn by the Central Government in 2018. Now all have to be made in the open market.

Your support in any form will make a huge difference. Given below are some routine expenses where funds are needed almost every day. Detailed cost break-up can be provided on request. You can choose from the options or suggest your own options.

• Be a guardian to a child: Current annual expenses of one student is Rs. 25,000/-. This includes food, and stay. clothing, educational and other expenses.
• Extend support by providing honorariums to teachers and staff members. The honorarium for one teacher is Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 7,000/- per month and Rs. 3000/- per month for staff members.
• Donate food grains, vegetables, fruits, educational material (e.g. notebooks, drawing books, crayons, colour pencils). Please think of Adivasi children on occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays or memorial days and give something to them.
• Support repairs and maintenance of our school buildings. Expenses are approx. Rs.10,000 to Rs. 15,000 per annum.
• Support Balmela: Annual Balmela expenses are about 5 to 6 lakhs. You can help us here. Even the smallest contribution means a lot.

• NNNA is a Public Trust with 80G Tax Exemption facility.
• The trust does not accept foreign funding or any other foreign help.
• Cheques/DDs are to be drawn in the name of Narmada Nav Nirman Abhiyan.
• Cheque/DD should be accompanied by your name, address, phone number and PAN legibly written.
